Goldrush.net reviews are built around observable data, transparent criteria, dated research, and plain caveats. If a number cannot be verified, it is labeled that way rather than guessed.

The hard rule

No ranking, score, fee, minimum, premium, or recommendation goes live unless the source can be cited, or it is clearly labeled as unpublished or unverified. Companies that do not publish fees lose transparency credit.

Gold IRA company criteria

• Fee clarity: setup, annual admin, storage, liquidation, spread, and other account costs.
• Published minimums and whether fees/minimums come from the company or third parties.
• Educational process: whether the company explains tradeoffs before pushing a sales call.
• Provider transparency: custodian relationships, storage options, and buyback process.
• Reputation signals: BBB, complaint themes, regulator actions, lawsuit/news checks, and years in business.
• Disclosure quality and restraint around performance claims.

Bullion dealer criteria

• Premium over spot on a fixed basket of common coins and bars.
• Shipping, insurance, payment, cancellation, and return policies.
• Buyback availability and spread transparency.
• IRA-eligible product clarity.

Premium tracker method

Premium audits should be captured in the same weekly time window, using the same product basket and payment assumptions. Each row needs a source URL, timestamp, spot-price source, and archived evidence before publication.
